Emmy/Multi-award winning director/writer/showrunner and seasoned executive. Super-experienced, combining crack story-molding skills with a striking visual style. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor staff and crew, supervise multiple projects , manage a wide range of budgets and develop and nurture talent. Excel at taking projects from concept to final edit.
Directed and posted in every format from hdv to 35mm to hd and tapeless in an innovative visual style.
Worked in a variety of genres - everything from fashion and interior re-design to lifestyle and travel; crime reality to kid comedy shows, documentaries to sitcoms. Instrumental in launching networks such as MTV Latino and web-based Voyages; and number one rated shows such as Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel. Successfully supervised and developed series for MTV, Lifetime, VH1, ESPN, Nickelodeon and the Food Network to name a few.
Away from the business of making tv shows, have directed commercials for Scunci, IDT, Metlife and Interscope Records amongst others and music videos for Mercury Records, Verve and Philips Music Group along with numerous PSA's.
Award-wise, short-form projects have garnered a Monitor Award for a Nightline Open and an MTV Image spot.
As the Coordinating Producer/Director for two seasons of MTV Sports, received an EMMY and an Ace.
Nominated twice more for the EMMY, both for MTV Sports and ESPN’s X-Games.
Also produced, directed and co-wrote an antigambling series and PSA's for the NCAA, receiving a 2001 Silver NY International Film and Video Award as
Producer/Director.
Named one of Lifetime/Entertainment Weekly's 'Women Who Really Rock' in 2002.
